Endocrinologist

Robert Burr, MD MSc, FACP, FACE is an Endocrinologist now seeing patients at the Community Health Center’s Mashpee location. Dr. Burr has been a practicing endocrinologist for over 40 years in a variety of practice settings including many years of independent practice at Wasatch Endocrinology and Diabetes Specialists in Salt Lake City and, more recently, at the Endocrine Center of Cape Cod in Falmouth.  After graduating from the Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, Dr. Burr received his postgraduate clinical training in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.  He has additional training in Clinical Nutrition, Metabolism and Obesity as an ACP Teaching and Research Scholar at the Rockefeller University Hospital and the Surgical Metabolism Laboratory at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, both in New York City.  He also has training in prenatal diabetes at the Prenatal Diabetes Clinic of the Joslin Clinic and the Diabetes in Early Pregnancy Program at the Children’s Hospital of San Francisco.
