Mashpee – Community Health Center is pleased to have David Mossop, OD join their team as the new Director of Optometry. Dr. Mossop brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the CHC team, where he will oversee the optometry department and provide patient care at the Mashpee office. In this role, Dr, Mossop will lead the team in delivering a broad range of vision services, from routine eye exams to advanced diagnostic testing for vision-related diseases.

Dr. Mossop received his Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, before earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from New England College of Optometry in Boston. Dr. Mossop gained significant experience through various externships, including those at Veterans Affairs facilities in Buffalo, NY, and Manchester, NH, as well as at a vision center in Fernandina Beach, FL and the Lynn Community Health Center.
