Curriculum | Advanced Practice Provider – Family Nurse Practitioner Residency
The FNP residency curriculum follows a progressive structure that builds on fundamental primary care knowledge towards more complex and specialized topics. The design is competency-informed and mirrors clinical challenges likely to be encountered in practice.
Our curriculum is organized in a 4-week block scheduling format.
Each core rotation will be for a minimum of eight weeks throughout the 24-month residency.
All rotations will include:
- Primary Care:
- Adult Medicine
- Women’s Health
- Pediatrics
- Behavioral Health
- Walk-In
- Addiction/Recovery services
- Formal didactics
- Multiple, inter-professional learning experiences
