Community Health Center Earns Gold Health Center Quality Leader Recognition from HRSA

September 2, 2026

Mashpee – Community Health Center (CHC) is proud to announce that it has been recognized by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) as a 2026 Gold Health Center Quality Leader, placing CHC among the top 10% of the nation’s highest performing health centers for clinical quality.

In addition to earning Gold Health Center Quality Leader recognition, CHC received national recognition for Quality in Diabetes Care, Advancing Health Information Technology (HIT) for Quality and High-Value Care. Together, these distinctions highlight CHC’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality, accessible and patient-centered care to the communities it serves.

Each year, HRSA recognizes federally qualified health centers across the country through its Community Health Quality Recognition (CHQR) badges, based on quality data from the year prior. UDS measures a wide range of health center performance indicators, including patient characteristics, services provided, clinical processes and health outcomes, staffing, costs and revenues.

The Gold Health Center Quality Leader recognition celebrates health centers that demonstrate exceptional performance on clinical quality measures, reflecting the dedication of CHC’s providers, clinical teams and staff to improving health outcomes for patients across the region. CHC’s additional recognitions demonstrate achievements in several important areas of care including a strong performance in supporting patients living with diabetes, effective use of technology to enhance the quality of care and a commitment to providing quality services while optimizing resources.

These recognitions reflect the extraordinary work CHC staff does every day to provide high-quality, compassionate care to their patients, and demonstrates CHC’s commitment to continuously improving the patient experience and health outcomes in the community. CHC remains committed to expanding access to comprehensive health care and continually improving the quality and effectiveness of the services it provides. This includes our Expanded Access to Health Care in Sandwich campaign, which will allow CHC to serve more individuals and families, reduce barriers to care and ensure more members of our community have access to the care services they need.
