Dr. Samuel Kothalanka is a board certified Psychiatrist who has experience working with refractory affective, mood disorder and psychotic patients, as well as substance abuse. Prior to Community Health Center, he worked as a Staff Psychiatrist at South Bay Community Services in Mashpee. Dr. Kothalanka did his psychiatric clinical residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton, Massachusetts where he later served as Chief Resident in the Department of Psychiatry. He also earned high honors for excellence in teaching at Tufts University, where he was an Associate Clinical Instructor. Dr. Kothalanka is a Member of the American Psychiatric Association.
