DESCRIPTION:Community Health Center of Cape Cod and Mashpee Fire and Rescue are hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Christ the King Church on Wednesday\, September 8. The Pfizer vaccine will be administered for individuals 12 and older from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Church\, located at 5 Job’s Fishing Road in Mashpee.  Community Health Center of Cape Cod has created an online scheduling tool to make it easier for patients and others in the community to view availability and to schedule an appointment. To make an appointment\, please visit: www.chcofcapecod.org/covid-19-vaccine-ctk. Appointments are strongly encouraged\, but walk-in vaccinations will be available. \n  \nIndividuals receiving a vaccination can enter the church parking lot using either the Job’s Fishing Road or Nathan Ellis Highway entrances. All recipients of the vaccine will automatically be scheduled for their second dose of the Pfizer vaccine in three weeks on Wednesday\, September 29\, at the same time and location. The Health Center is part of a regional effort to distribute vaccines. DESCRIPTION:National Health Center Week – Open House and Health Screening Events  \nCommunity Health Center of Cape Cod unites with other health centers across the nation every August to celebrate National Health Center Week.  The theme for this year’s Health Center Week is “The Chemistry for Strong Communities.”  To celebrate\, we will be hosting an open house and free health screening events at our Mashpee and Centerville offices\, and we hope that you can join us! \nCenterville Event—1185B Falmouth Road\nMonday\, August 9\, 10:00 am—1:00 pm  \nMashpee Event—107 Commercial Street\nWednesday\, August 11\, 10:00 am—1:00 pm  \n Each free event will feature: \n\nBlood pressure screenings\nBody mass index screenings\nHealth Center and healthy living information\nOpportunity to tour the Health Center\nCHC giveaways and raffles\n“Stuffy check-up” activity for kids\nAccess to learn about CHC services (primary\, behavioral health\, dental care)\n\nWe hope to see you at these Health Center Week events\, which are free and open for all!  For more information about the open house/health screening events\, please contact Chris Ellis at cellis@chcofcapecod.org\, (508) 477-5990.
